An Espresso Academy article published on 6 March 2016 describes an open-day practice format at the school’s Florence location on Via delle Torri 55. The school invited coffee enthusiasts to practice barista technique, latte art and brewing, taste coffees, read from its coffee library and spend time with the coffee community.

The article describes free open days from 14:00 to 18:00, held twice a month, and a separate free monthly coffee “Jam Session” from 18:00 for coffee experiments and tasting. It presents these as recurring activities rather than a single dated class.

A separate Espresso Academy post published on 3 March announced an open day and Jam Session for 22 March 2016. The planned programme included milk-foaming and latte-art practice, coffee tasting, a Cezve/Ibrik demonstration, coffee-grind and filter comparisons, and a latte-art throwdown. The saved sources document the announcement, not whether that particular session took place.

Together, these first-party records describe the school’s practice and community format in 2016. They do not verify a particular session’s delivery or attendance, a formal course or certificate, or Natt Muangsiri’s participation.

This story is based on Espresso Academy Firenze’s original diary and documents activity in Florence, Italy, not classes at our Bangkok campus. We’re proud to be part of the wider coffee community and continue learning alongside colleagues across the network.
