Rock & Roast: Cupping-Room Support and Calibration in the Philippines

Rock & Roast, part of Coffee Boom Boom Boom and connected with the World Roasting League journey, brought roasters and coffee professionals together in the Philippines. Our contribution included cupping-room support and coffee calibration assistance.

We also took part in a theory session, sharing knowledge around cupping, sensory understanding, roast evaluation and communication of quality. Practical preparation and education supported the work happening around the competition.

For this event, calibration support included the CoffeeMind Sense Check tool and collaboration with the Copenhagen team. The work helped align evaluation with the Head Judge and gave the team a shared reference for discussing coffee quality.
