World of Coffee Athens 2023: Coffee Connections Across Borders

World of Coffee Athens, held on 22–24 June 2023 at Athens Metropolitan Expo, created opportunities to meet coffee communities from different countries. Our retrospective shared memories of coffee, conversation and learning across borders.

At the event, Philippine coffee was shared with visitors, opening conversations about its origins and the people behind it. Producers, cuppers, roasters and educators exchanged experiences across borders.

When revisiting these memories in 2026, Natt also reflected on a separate recent Philippine visit and participation in final evaluation for the Robusta and Liberica panels at PCQC 2026. That later experience strengthened the connection with the Philippine coffee community.
