Philippine Excelsa at Our WRL Competition Coffee Cupping
Philippine Excelsa was one of the coffees shared at our WRL Competition Coffee Cupping activity. After visiting and learning at PCQC Philippines, Natt brought the coffee back for participants to taste and discuss together.
The group observed its aromas, brightness, sweetness and changing character as the cups cooled. Comparing impressions offered a way to explore a coffee variety beyond those many participants were already familiar with.
Natt also shared experiences from the visit, including growing areas, farmers, production and work toward coffee quality in the Philippines. Those stories connected the tasting with the people and places behind the coffee.
Thank you to everyone for the curiosity and conversation. The original album records this coffee-sharing experience and the community around it, bringing learning from origin into our campus tasting practice.
