Sensory learning asks us to notice a sensation, describe it and make sense of it. In February 2021, we shared a glimpse of SCA Sensory Intermediate practical training and examination at our Bangkok academy.

The course connected how we taste and perceive with running a cupping session and exploring coffee’s diversity. Sensory physiology, cupping practice and sensory panels were among the topics in the original overview, along with applying sensory skills in a business.

For this particular offering, we invited learners who had already built experience through Intermediate Barista, Brewing and Roasting study. The recap captures that next step in sensory learning; explore the original classroom album below.
