Q Grader Day 1: Bangkok, September 2026
Bangkok • 14 September 2026
Cups on the table, notebooks open, and everyone getting into the work together. Our September Q Grader class began with cupping practice: smelling, tasting and taking time to put observations on paper, with guidance from Natt.
Students then took a closer look at green coffee, weighing samples, using screens, examining beans and comparing them with defect references. Around the table, there were focused faces, questions and classmates leaning in to check something together.
These were the foundations of our six-day course, alongside an introduction to Coffee Value Assessment and physical assessment. Thank you to everyone who brought their curiosity to the classroom.
