Learning with Comandante: Equipment, Practice and Coffee Community

Thank you to Comandante for equipment and activities that supported learning in our coffee community. At Espresso Academic Thailand, students used the grinders in practical exercises, exploring grind consistency, recipe control and the character of different coffees.

Trying the equipment and comparing cups helped bring preparation choices into the classroom. The tools formed part of the practical learning rather than replacing observation and tasting.

Events and competitions supported by Comandante also gave us opportunities to learn beyond our campus. Conversations with other coffee professionals brought new perspectives on preparation and coffee culture.
