From Anaya Training to the Espresso Italiano Championship: An Alumni Story, 2018–2019
Anaya’s posts trace one learner’s coffee education from a 2018 experience at Anaya into competitions and further barista training the following year. The December 2018 source is a participant’s own post recalling learning at Anaya; it does not give the class date or course title.
In July 2019, Anaya described the alumnus as having studied SCA Barista Skills Intermediate and Espresso Academy Advanced Barista, and said they had reached the Thailand Championship of the Maestro Barista Challenge / Espresso Italiano 2019. That post announced an October competition in Italy. Anaya’s December retrospective later said the 2018 learner placed first in Thailand at the Espresso Italiano Championship 2019 and represented Thailand in Milan. These competition details are attributed to Anaya’s posts.
In November 2019, Espresso Academic Thailand shared a Barista Skills Professional training-atmosphere post at Anaya. Its caption also described the participant as second runner-up at Barista Time Trial 2019. This is a separate competition result, reported as the caption states.
A separate participant post published on 18 December showed an SCA Barista Skills Professional certificate dated 26 October 2019. The certificate date, training-post publication date and class date are distinct; the available records do not establish that the certificate came from the photographed session.
The posts preserve a meaningful Anaya alumni path across two years without supplying exact class dates, a trainer roster, or a class size.
