Water and Better Coffee: A Workshop Shared by Behind The Passion in Myanmar

Great coffee starts with water. Espresso Academic shared Behind The Passion Coffee Academy’s water workshop as an alumni success story from Myanmar, connecting classroom learning with the wider brewing community.

Behind The Passion’s original recap dates the session to 31 January 2026. It describes sharing knowledge about water suitable for coffee with PCA brewing competitors and other people interested in coffee, and credits Sayar Aung Myat Kyaw and Sayar Mote Thone Moe Oo.

The original photographs show teaching and discussion around water and coffee preparation. We are glad to see this knowledge being shared beyond our campus and reaching people preparing for competition as well as those developing their everyday coffee practice.
