UAC Water Workshop: Tasting the Difference Before Competition

Before stepping into UAC 2026, competitors came together for a workshop focused on water. The 18 April session at Espresso Academic in Bangkok combined discussion, tasting and comparison to explore how different water formulations affected the cup.

Participants listened, tasted and compared the results together. One observation stood out in our workshop recap: even when readings looked similar, differences in mineral composition could produce different tasting experiences. The comparisons gave the group something practical to discuss and carry into their competition preparation.

The workshop was an opportunity to ask questions, test impressions and learn from one another before the competition. Thank you to everyone who joined with curiosity and helped make the session both focused and enjoyable.
