UAC Geisha Roasting: Practice Time for the 24 Semi-Finalists

On 26 April, the 24 UAC Geisha Roasting semifinalists had time to practise on the competition machines before the next round. The session gave them a chance to become familiar with the equipment, study the coffee and plan their approach to the roast.

Preparation meant trying, thinking, adjusting and making decisions. Each competitor used the available time to consider profiles and timing, knowing that small details could become important once the competition began.

The atmosphere combined concentration with the growing excitement of the semifinal. These practice sessions were another part of the UAC journey, bringing the work behind a competition performance into view.
