Supporting the Thailand HB Best Batch Roaster Contest 2024

We were proud to support the Thailand HB Best Batch Roaster Contest 2024, bringing passionate roasters together at Espresso Academic for a friendly competition and a chance to share their work. Our recap on 26 December celebrated the award winners and the coffee community behind the event.

Congratulations to Chalermphol Sritummawut (Kong), who took first place; Tanawat Wichapanich (Taylor), in second; and Thanatchapong Dhipayamaneerut (June), in third. Chawasit Tengtrairatana (Ig) received the Best Flavor award.

Espresso Academic supported the contest with our training venue and prizes: an SCA Roasting Intermediate course for the champion, plus 15,000-baht vouchers for the second- and third-place winners. We hope these learning opportunities encourage the next steps in their coffee journeys. Thank you to HB Roaster Thailand and everyone who made the competition such an enjoyable gathering.
