Supporting Lao Coffee Producers Through Auction Buying

Supporting coffee development can begin with choosing whose coffee to buy. In August 2022, Espresso Academy Thailand shared its involvement in the development of specialty Arabica and Robusta alongside ITC Lao Coffee Culture, the Lao Coffee Association and ARISE Plus Lao PDR.

The accompanying Taste of Laos graphic recognised the Academy as an auction buyer of coffees from Yuni Coffee and Sackda Farm. These purchases connected our interest in coffee quality with support for the people producing it.

The original post expressed the hope for better coffee quality and a sustainable coffee community. Its historical graphic and photographs below preserve that part of our relationship with Lao coffee.
