SCA Barista Intermediate with Bie and Nadja in Bangkok

Bie and Nadja joined us at MunMun Srinakarin in Bangkok for SCA Barista Intermediate. Our April 2024 classroom photographs capture a careful milk pour and the attention that goes into learning behind the bar.

The three-day programme combined online preparation with practical classroom work. Learners explored coffee and roast differences, the machine and grinder, and the preparation of six familiar coffee drinks.

Espresso tasting and extraction practice connected adjustments at the grinder with flavour in the cup. Water analysis and milk techniques added further ways to understand what changes a drink and how to make it more consistent.
