Roasters brought their preparation to the space in front of our school at Munmun Srinakarin, Seacon Square, for Practice Day ahead of the Thailand National Coffee Roasting Championship 2026 preliminary round. The championship team set up a busy working area where competitors could examine the green coffee and prepare their approach to roasting.

It was a chance to see that preparation closely: handling the beans, analysing their characteristics and considering roast profiles before the competition rounds. We were glad to encourage both our own students and the other competitors as they put their knowledge and experience into practice.

Espresso Academic was one of the event’s supporters and worked with the organising team over several months of planning. In our follow-up on 9 November, we congratulated the 17 competitors selected for the final round. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, skill and energy to this stage of the championship.
