Q Grader Alumni in the Community: Lara and Negros Coffee

We celebrated a Q Grader alumni moment as Lara Santillan shared an update from her own coffee class. The campus post recognised an alumna carrying her learning into the wider coffee community.

Lara described an intensive class with attentive participants and an opportunity to showcase Negros coffee. Farmers joined and heard how others evaluated the coffees, perceived their qualities and offered feedback.

Bringing producers and participants into the same conversation made this a meaningful part of the shared update. The learning continued beyond our campus through an alumna’s work and the coffee community around her.
