Emma and Beem Bring Brewing Practice to PCA Thailand 2025

Our trainers Emma (Phitcha Soisaengphan) and Beem (Nanthicha K.) represented Espresso Academic in the PCA Thailand 2025 Brewing Competition at CentralWorld’s Eden 3. They joined a field of 65 brewers from around the country.

The competition put practical brewing decisions under pressure: different coffees and waters, limits on grinders and equipment, and a tight time allowance. Understanding extraction and balance mattered when the available tools and conditions changed.

Emma and Beem prepared with Coach Ben before taking that practice onto the competition stage. For our team, entering a competition is also a way to keep learning. The observations, adjustments and experience gathered there become part of what we can bring back to our students.
