CQI Post Harvest Processing in Chitwan: Connecting the Farm with the Cup
Following their sensory and cup-evaluation work, students continued into CQI Post Harvest Processing in Chitwan, Nepal, as part of our March 2026 programme. The course broadened their view of where coffee quality begins.
Students explored cherry selection, fermentation, washing, drying, risk control and post-harvest quality preservation. They connected decisions at origin with cleanliness, sweetness and character in the cup.
The learning journey linked farm, processing, green coffee, roasting, cupping and evaluation. Looking across those stages gave students more context for what they observed while tasting.
Thank you to everyone involved in this Nepal training programme. Explore the original album for more of the processing class and the people who learned together.
