Coffee Brewing with the Community in Bologna
In a report published on 3 October 2017, Espresso Academy described joining “Venga a prendere il caffè da noi,” a public coffee event in Bologna organized by Aroma and Cineteca di Bologna.
At the CAFFELAB table, the school named trainers Ilaria Nocentini, Kaai Iwano, Robert Brinck and Simone Celli as serving coffee prepared with V60, Chemex and Aeropress, along with a Coffee Flowers infusion.
The school’s recap gives 1 October as the event date. A contemporary Italian coffee-industry report places the event on Saturday 30 September, ahead of International Coffee Day on 1 October. Because the records differ, this article leaves the exact event day unresolved.
The sources describe a public brewing demonstration and community participation. They do not identify this as a formal course, certification session or competition.
