Metal tins of green coffee samples sit in fitted cases beside Coffee Consulate reference charts and an Espresso Academy Thailand location label.

Real coffee samples gave our classroom discussions something to examine closely. In September 2020, we shared the Coffee Consulate Coffee Defect and Green Coffee Sample sets used as visual aids across our EA and SCA courses.

The original photograph shows tins of green coffee arranged in fitted cases beside printed reference charts. It records the teaching materials that supported our lessons at the Bangkok academy.

Related posts from the same period show aroma tools used in roasting, sensory and trainer learning, including Smell & Tell and Scentone’s Theorem 144 kit. Another update looks at moisture and density measurement for green coffee. Explore the original photographs below for a look at our classroom resources in 2020.
