Hands-On SCA Brewing Intermediate at Anaya in Late 2018

Dec 2, 2018
1 min read

Anaya Espresso Society’s late-2018 posts documented private SCA Brewing Intermediate training with a practical focus. A completion recap published on 2 December described an intensive 14-hour course. A second recap with similar wording appeared on 9 December; the saved evidence does not establish whether it referred to another cohort or the same learning episode.

The original captions describe analyzing grind profiles, matching a grind to a brewing method, measuring coffee strength and charting extraction. Those topics connect practical brewing decisions with measurement and sensory evaluation.

A 27 November announcement had advertised a one-day, 14-hour Brewing Skills Intermediate offering for 1 December and named Nattawat Muangsiri (AST) as instructor. Anaya’s Past Completed Courses page also lists a December 1 offering of the matching 14-hour course at Anaya, Bangkok, with Nattawat Muangsiri (AST) as instructor. The page omits the year and retains “available 1 pax”; although this supports a 2018 scheduled offering, it does not conclusively connect that delivery to the 2 December recap. The completion posts do not identify their instructor or participants.

The original publication dates are preserved separately from the unknown class date. These records do not establish a student count, distinct cohort count or certificate outcome.
