Emma × Beem: Teamwork Behind a CAFEC Brewmaster Runner-Up Finish
Congratulations to Beem, Nanthicha Koklang of Espresso Academic Thailand, on a first runner-up finish at the CAFEC Brewmaster Championship 2026. Behind the result was the preparation and teamwork of Emma × Beem: practice, exchanging ideas and trusting one another through the competition journey.
The award carried more than one person’s effort. Our January celebration recognised how the team learned and grew together, with the person on stage representing the work that happened before the competition. We were proud to share that moment with both of them.
Coffee education and science were part of that preparation, alongside hands-on practice and persistence. Understanding the coffee, testing ideas and learning from each attempt helped turn classroom learning into competition experience.
Thank you to Emma and Beem for the commitment they brought to the team, and congratulations to all the competitors. Browse the original Academic album below for photographs from this CAFEC Brewmaster milestone.
