Coffee Notes from Nagoya: Three Visits to TRUNK Coffee

Three posts by Anaya Espresso Society between November 2016 and April 2018 record Natt Muangsiri’s visits to TRUNK Coffee in Nagoya, Japan. The dates below are the posts’ publication dates; the visits themselves are not separately dated.
In a post published on 24 November 2016, Natt described TRUNK as roasting its own beans and developing its own profiles. He wrote that he learned from the café’s daily routine: checking water temperature and relative humidity, tasting coffee each morning, and keeping detailed notes. These details are presented as Natt’s observations in his caption.
A July 2017 post again places Natt at TRUNK Coffee in Nagoya. Its caption gives no further account of the visit, so it is included as a separate record of a return, not as a class or partnership.
An April 2018 post shows a group at TRUNK with coffee bags. The reviewed images include bags labeled La Esmeralda Geisha Panama and Wollega Natural Ethiopia. The post caption says it was difficult to choose; it does not provide tasting notes or document a farm visit.
Together, the posts preserve a small thread of coffee travel and observation across several years. They do not establish a formal training course, mentor relationship, partnership, or any connection to Natt’s pilot employment.
Natt’s original caption — published by Anaya Espresso Society on 24 November 2016 (original Thai and English):
amazing coffee + very friendly and skillful barista = TRUNK coffee
