An Espresso Academy article published on 15 February 2016 describes an 8-coffee blind cupping held on 2 February, after a roasting-course day on the third day of the school’s Coffee and Barista Route.

The article says the cupping was organized to help choose a coffee for an Italian representative who was due to travel to Dubai for a world championship later that month. It names trainer Helena Oliviero and identifies her as the Italian Ibrik champion. A later interview with Oliviero corroborates that she won the 2016 Italian Cezve/Ibrik title; contemporaneous event coverage places the 2016 World Cezve/Ibrik Championship in Dubai in February.

The saved sources support the course-linked coffee-selection session and the Italian title. They do not establish that Oliviero competed at the world event or achieved a world placing, so this article makes no claim about a world result.
