Beam’s Roasting Smackdown Journey: Competition and Coaching

Congratulations to Beam from Espresso Academic for reaching the final four at Roasting Smackdown. Our 15 May team update reported a second-place finish and celebrated the work behind that result.

Thank you to Rit for coaching Beam and supporting the preparation. Rit also competed, with our update reporting fifth place among more than 100 competitors.

The result had not been formally announced on stage when we shared the update. What we could already celebrate was the preparation, experience and encouragement the team gained from competing.

Thank you to the organisers and everyone who helped the competitors prepare. We will keep learning, improving and supporting one another for the next opportunity.
